Another High Priced Seiko 0624

Post10 Sep 2013, 20:43

Here is the eBay auction...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEIKOS-1ST-WORL ... 58a34928ca

I was told recently when a "Pair" of Seiko 0624's (Gold and SS) sold for $300.00 USD, that this model did not hold very much value, and does not usually bring in that much money, but the auction listed above has a 0624 listed at: US $605.22. Now I realize that the seller is trying to just make some money with this auction, so there is a "Best Offer" option, and he or she is aiming for a price around the $505.22 range. The watch looks fantastic cosmetically, but has module defects (unable to set the time), and that into itself technically, should lower the price somewhat. As a new owner of this Seiko model, I will suggest that this watch has an auction value around, $250.00? What are your people's thoughts? Oh, Yes, by the way, the auction does list this watch as "Lemon Drop" again! :-) (funny).

Ok, it sold. I would be curious in knowing the best offer price.

Anyway,

His BIN price was about $600.
I guess it's sold in the price range of (give or take) $475.
But we can only guess unless someone on the forum bought it and tells us what he paid.
And given the fact that it's defective, i would not have paid more than $200 myself.
