Does an 0662 module fit in a 0624 case? (yes!!)

For electronic related stuff like module repair, silver epoxy fixes etc.

Yes it does :)

You need a 0662 module of course (dead 0624 on the left)

Backs look very similar (dead 0624 on the left)

I had to put the plastic lcd carrier of the 0624 on the 0662 module, apparently the 0662 lcd is smaller. Pinout is the same. The 0624 plastic looks nicer anyway.
The nice white plastic is from the 0624 module.

And the fronts with the plastic removed. (just carefully pry it off with a screwdriver)
Again the dead 0624 on the left.

Be careful with the legs of the IC when you put the plastic carrier back, it takes some careful maneuvering and moving of the legs.

But this is the result, the 0662 module with the 0624 plastic carrier, lcd and spring :)

The bracelet is too short unfortunately, but for the time being, it works with a clasp extender, but some more links are "on the wish list" :)

Very very interesting....mumble mumble.... :grin1: :grin1:
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
