Renotest portescap machine manual or help please

Post10 Jul 2017, 15:46

OK so I picked up another machine thinking I could use it as a comparison to my other machines. A Portescap Renotest. No manual, how difficult could it be? Mistake 1.
Easy look up on the internet there's bound to be some info. Mistake 2

No onto DWF, DWF can always help, please dont be Mistake 3.

Anyone got a manual? Anyone know what it actually does? I think I probably made a mistake, it didnt cost an arm and a leg and looks kind of important as though it knows something. So maybe its just destined as shelf candy.

The Portescap Renotest was a late 1970s analog quartz watch test multimeter (you could also use it with digital watches). The device could measure voltages and current, supply test voltage and monitor current & did a couple of other things too. The companion unit to it was the Vibrograph M80 and if you added this you could measure the rate of your watch (analog, digital or Accutron).

Thanks Tom. Drat, I thought I might be a timing machine. Whats the little microphone thing on a stand? Also, do you know where I can find a manual?
