3 x Synchronar's Now Needing Battery Replacement

Post23 Dec 2018, 22:50

I should of looked after them better!

Can anyone recommend someone who could replace the batteries in the Synchonar watch ..... hopefully it is just the batteries.

Just going through my collection and also found one or two others that have issues; one of my Hughes calculator watches is lighting up all digits, my Heuer Chronosplit also has issues.

Expecting to find some more casualties as I continue testing them through.... its sad but to be expected due to the age of the watches.

Any recommendations for general repair work?

Merry Christmas to everyone on the DWF :-D

Batteries were left in the watches but changed regularly..... apart from the last six months. I have now decided to take the batteries out and just put them in as i wear them, it's cheaper and less time consuming that way.

Good news with the Synchronar's- all 3 are working, 2 are holding at least some charge the other one might be okay with a bit more charge. I left them under a lamp for 2 days......then noticed it had a florescent bulb in it.
