My two favorite watches

Post22 Aug 2009, 22:44

These are my two favorite watches I have.

Onne is of course my CompuChron, - and the other is my Sharp watch in gold tone stainless steel. It has the strech band, which I like alot, and it has the date like my CompuChron, but not digital. :-D

My first attempt at watch making

Post23 Aug 2009, 23:46

Hey guys,

Here's my first attempt at making a watch.

I took an analog watch module, made a simple poster board face with four markers, and added an hour hand only. - no wrist band yet.

Not really impressive I know, but for a beginner, I guess it's ok.

Very cool Josh 8-)

You could use different colored sections on the watch face and the single hour hand to make a Tian Harlan 'chromachron' style watch

That sounds like a great idea, I like the design of the face there! :-D

Thanks for sharing the link!

I appreciate it :)

Very colorful Josh, makes me want to spin it and watch the colors merge like a spinning top.
