Breitling Refurbishment: Before & After.

Post11 Nov 2010, 04:19

Here are some photo's of my Breitling. It was purchased as none working and in a bit of a sorry state, the dial was damaged with gunk from leaking batteries and the outer ring was sprayed black. I replaced the module and band and sent the case off for refurbishment.
I am very impressed with the results and I thought I'd share the photo's with the forum.

Unfortunately the lighting conditions were not as good for the photo's of the refurbished watch but I think they are still good enough to show the difference between the before and after condition of the watch.

Some minor details had to be sacrificed to bring the watch back up to spec' for example the number 10 on the dial is now black, it was originally red, the red arrow next to this was painted on by hand!

Thank you Jeff & LEDluvr :-D

Surprisingly the module is a just a bog standard Frontier which is found in quite a few other watches, luckily enough I already had a spare.
