back to the topic of this thread,----- 2, on the same wrist. 1 1970's round ygf LeCoultre date ticker. 1 1960's Elgin s/s round auto. Elgin is the only american watchmaker that actually made their own automatic movement. all others used swiss made, including Elgin towards the end of their manufacturing days. peter

Today, I'm wearing a new stainless Hamilton QED that I just picked up (for $135). It's minty fresh with the original brushed and polished surfaces and sharp edges which really show off the striking lines of the elegant deco style design. This one is not a daily wearer and it's going to be difficult to resist it.

The one and only Solar Powered Kopriso Numitron Watch with KW-104S minitron display. It has a leather pilot strap. Operation and time display functions the same as the single tube nixie watch. Numitron displays date back to the late 19th century, so they are much older than nixie tubes. The ones I have used were designed for the avionics industry and are incredibly expensive (a single digit KW-104S display (like this one) costs like $300).

Nice ones Kasper, I think you choose the Hamilton ? :-). You could have worn the nixie watch with a theme battery sticker for that day; a wedding cake topper (bride&groom) to match your anniversary or some fishes to match the baptism. :-D

Sorry I missed this statement when I read the thread - I would like to wish you a speedy recovery and hope that you are re-united with your watch very soon. :!:
