Wow impressive!

Congrats !!! :dwf:
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Impressive collection. i see some pieces here that i dont like personally - like that terrible "lava" led watch that always clutters my ebay searches, but even from a distance i can see some highly desirable models in there. Really nice collection!!!!!! Do you actually have TWO nixie wrist watches by chance? And one with a caspar ghost on it???

as you can see, i like all sorts of digital watches and watches in general. The strangest thing is that all customers who see my watchcabinet, it stands in my private workshop, always asks about 2 watches.. the Nixies and the lava led.
I bought mine the first time they were on the marked, i never knew they were going to sell in these quantities.
So who am i to tell people what they find interesting. I have a pulsar led calculator but everybody tells me...yes i know these in the back of the cabinet and always points at the casio calculators :-D , never at the pulsar.

So most watches we love is because of there history, there build quality and looks etc.

I personally can get excited with a watch of 5$ :-D

I can also spot a Casio Flip-Top FTP-10 if i see it right... I tried to swap batteries on mines at the weekend, but for some reason on both the analog movement doesn't start ticking... I spotted a small inscrption "Push" on the movement, but when pushing that spot with a needle nothing seems to happen... is there some secret kick-starting procedure or did both my analog movements die without further notice at the same time? I still think maybe there is some trick...

I take 2 small needles and hold one on the push spot and the other just against the metal plate and make contact with each other.

I guess i will try again this weekend.

Is that an NHJ VTV-201 i spot there? Out of nostalgic reasons (and the bargain factor) i got myself a VTV-101 again. Always wanted the VTV-201.
I also have some weird SP-WTV01 chinese TV Wristwatches i got cheap. Gotta hook up my TV Station Sender to a PC with AV-out when i got time and make some videos.

i have 2 of them, but i was just thinking...were is the second one :-D
It's no use to me at the moment cause they don't transmit a PAL signal anymore in our country. I had a small 433.33 Mhz video transmitter once but it broke and i couldn't use it cause nobody in the village could close there cars anymore when i fired it up :grin1: and you cannot bring a signal in with a kabel on this one.

I must have a look that around that there are watches with build in DVB-T decoder..so i could see our national tv stations digital on air. Lets check some chinese websites :-D

Here in germany the terestrial broadcast is also shut down, so I also have to use the Transmitter. My Transmitter is NTSC, so with Seiko TV Watch, VTV-101 and the chinese one (Multi-Norm) no problem...

There are no DVB-T wrist TVs. Unfortunately. I guess in the time of youtube on every cell phone that idea died out... The closest you can get is that Samsung handheld TV or smartphones with DVB.
