Heuer Chronosplit

Post19 Sep 2014, 15:20

With replacement modules/ displays available from Rawsar ( http://www.rawsar.com/Home.html) and the repair skills of Dr Peter Wenzig, owning a Chronosplit should be less of a daunting prospect now. The ever present fear of ending up with an expensive paperweight has always marred ownership of these watches. The goldplated version seems to be seen much less frequently for some reason. Anyway, here's my fully functioning (for now  ) latest Heuer acquisition

Stunning.. I too am jealous. Congratulations. Your collection must be full to busting now with stunning watches I have seen of yours over the last few years. Is there anything digital you still hanker after?

Thanks Adam, i think it was Bruce Wegmann that once said "be patient and sooner or later , the watch you are searching for WILL appear" or words to that effect.I have been fortunate in obtaining most of the watches i've desired. Luckily for me (and my Bank Manager) i never had the Pulsar bug. I would love a P1 however and also this -

The Most Beautiful Watch in The World (according to me lol)

This is the 1917-2 Men's rectangle 18k Touch Command from I believe the Midas collection. This is the only one I have ever seen or owned, ( Unfortunately the case-back was missing ). It also came in 14k 7917-1. From memory I've only seen a few of the 14k models over the years so this is a very rare Pulsar.

Please see the 18k and 14k models together.

Wow. That Chronosplit is beautiful. The LCD/LCD is my favourite version of the watch and I've never seen a Gold one in such nice condition before.

I've got one in stainless steel - but now I want a gold one (it's never ending...)
