That was going to be covered in part 2, but here is a sneak preview.. ..

Not a very good photo but notice the strange effect that the sunlight has on the DLC coating on the top of the watch!

Nice Mick weird effect on the top from the sunlight.

Nice overview so far Mick. Look forward to hearing more about the visibility (the display seems quite recessed into the hood of the case) and responsiveness of the "flick command" function

In order to make it a continuous review I have split the topic up and made this into the comments section, the review is all-but complete but to be honest I am not satisfied with how the photo's turned out and will probably return to improve them at some later stage - here's the link to the review viewtopic.php?f=67&t=7701&p=49225#p49225

Hi Mick, very nice review. Im tempted now. Can you comment on how you feel the watch feels generally compared to a GP LED? This seems like a good watch that could be worn daily given that repairs etc should be more readily available. From your review photos, it looks like it's been constructed to be durable (for every day wear)

Compared to the GP the main difference that you will notice is the weight and the HGWC feels a bit more solid than the GP, both are nice watches with their own merits and different styles. The GP is more uncovered at the front with it's letterbox shaped opening hiding the recessed display, the HGWC still has the recessed display but this is hooded by more of the actual case allowing the corners to be nicely rounded off.
