Armitron lcd (model?)

Post16 Sep 2015, 18:55

I recently purchased this Armitron watch. I absolutely love the look of this one. It reminds me of a mix of some seikos (pulsemeter in particular). I love the stainless steel bracelet with black paint (again very retro seiko).

I haven't been able to identify the model though. The back seems to have a serial number and then under that it reads "1958". Is that a model number? It has no manual. The functions seem to be: time mode 1 (with counting seconds top right), time mode 2 (day of the month top right) and stop watch mode. It also has a light.

I love the colour and geekyness of it. :grin1:

Great looker CTE. And yes, a ringer for Seikos pulsemeter. Maybe the serial has the last two digits switched (1985 maybe).

Again, great find, I haven't seen one before.

Thanks. :-D

Yes, it is possible they printed the last two digits incorrectly. The back of the case reads:

40-8049

1958

I guess the first line could be the model number. I can't find any trace of the watch online.
