rare Zodiac Astrodigit LCD

Post16 Jan 2018, 15:29

Finally, after many searches and a 3 month restoration process at my outstanding watchmaker ...I finally own a rare Zodiac Astrodigit LCD - module ESA 942711, in the rarest case variant with Half SS and Half Gold Plated face! :grin1:
I know that it is not in a perfectly mint shape...but it is rare as hens teeth... M:)W:)M

Best regards,

And just to explain a little why I was so excited about the Half SS (Stainless Steel) + Half full GP Astrodigit LCD case, below there are the previously known/reported variants of Zodiac Astrodigit LCD: :-D
I. Zodiac Astrodigit LCD with module ESA 9315 - 4 digits, with a different case design than the well known one for the Chronograph (it was reported in both full SS and full GP cases)
II. Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in SS case
III. Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in Half SS + Half Black PVD case
IV. Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in Half SS + Half GP "stripe" case
V. Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in full SS case of a different design
VI. Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in full GP case of a different design
...+ VII. A Zodiac Astrodigit LED watch... :grin1:

Thus until now, it was not reported a (VIII? :grin1: )Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in Half SS + Half GP case, as mine, presented in the above post... :grin1:

Thus, below are some images of the known/previously reported variants of the Zodiac Astrodigit watches (LCD +LED):
I, II, III). Previously reported Zodiac Astrodigit LCDs, image from http://uniquewatches.net/web3zodiacastrodigit.html

IV). and another image of the half case GP "striped" Zodiac Astrodigit from http://pre-cog.jugem.jp/?eid=10

V). Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in full SS case of a different design

VI). Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Chronograph, with module ESA 942711 in full GP case of a different design,
please access the images from http://www.sometimeago.com/zodiac-astrodigit-lcd/, because they are huge... :-)

Please feel free to ad another variants of Zodiac Astrodigit LCD or LED watches, NOT MENTIONED above...

Best regards,

>> (VII). Zodiac Astrodigit LED watch, image from worthpoint.com >>

As is normal with the net .. sites like worthpoint.com pinch photos from all over ebay and watch forums .. and crop out things like copyright / contact / credit info .. and paste it up as there own !!

Anyway, the Astrodigit LED photos were of my watch, so heres some of the originals :-D

Great watch cybr. If you have time can you send me some pics so I can add them to library. Super find.

Diginut. It's never ending. I am in a constant battle with pinterest trying to get them to remove images I have taken from the site. Even with the large copyright over them. They expect me to go through the long winded process for eacj and every one. there must be at least 100 on there maybe more. Worse thing is they take away the google rankings of the library so users go to pinterest first if they type in a specific watch. So infuriating.

@Adam. Thanks for Your kind reply. Of course that, as soon I will have some time to take more photos, I will send some of them for Your outstanding library. Please PM Your email for sending them.
And I will be honored to see my rare Zodiac Astrodigit LCD watch presented there together with Yours and others Zodiac Astrodigits :-D

@Diginut. Sorry, I had no idea that the image from worthpoint.com is one of Yours. I only wanted to document, as close that I could find online references, the real number of Zodiac Astrodigit watches variants - LCD and LED - available!
Thus I already changed that "worthpoint" image on my post with one of Yours (including the copyright). Thanks for Your understanding...
