Can you imagine...2 cells together and suddenly after a few weeks an engine starts beating from nothing and it beats for approximatly 80 years!!
That's the only true miracle of life.

Best wishes to your wife, now Kasper sit down and have a nice little shot of good old Jack Daniel's to relax your nerves.

Kasper has embarked on what is possibly the only thing in the world more expensive than LED watch collecting...parenthood (especially, when it comes time to pay for the wedding!). It can be one of life's greatest trials or greatest pleasures...hopefully more of the latter than the former. Best wishes to you and the missus... :-D

Thanks all..i'm a bit overwelmed by all your warm feelings. And yess all the credit goes to my lovely wife who at the age of 39, after 6 years trying to get pregnant, did the job without painkillers in one hour.

I must admit..i was feeling little after seeing what she did. But what she
produced was nothing less then a miracle. Even the staff was impressed.

as soon as i have a little more time, i will post a nice picture of my daughter, mainwhile this is the wife in her last week and some sweets for you all :-D

Kasper - you are right, the ladies look great.

I am curious about the little bears and bows I see your wife working on...is that for a baby shower (party)? In USA people have a party for the baby and parents before the baby is born. But possibly different custom in Belgium?

Anyway, congratulations again.

Before the baby is born, the parents go to a babyshop and make a list with all the items they want for the baby.
When the baby is born, friends and family go to the shop and buy stuff from that list and give it to us when they visit us to congratulate.

Image

We give them as a tradition childrens poop M:)W:)M :O`~ see the pink beans in the jar on the picture..these are chocolats..(but we call it childrens poop)and we pack them in any way we like..we did all the stuff ourselfs. From the bears to the birthcard. It's something unique.

the latest trent is to give a baby drink after the baby is born in a big place so you only have to do it one time.

But we like tradition :-D
