Hi Mick,

I've been sucked into something even more addictive than LED watches but just as bloody expensive...see here - http://www.bladehelis.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdId=BLH3680 - I can't stop flying... :-D

Two of my heli's with custom LED nav lights...

WOW a quad copter very ... 8-) ...that is a great looking set-up you have there, last year I saw one demonstrated at my local hobby shop being controlled by an iphone it had forward and downward facing cameras which were shown on the iphone's screen...just amazing.

Can you list what you have there.

I've not had the MCPX that long I bought it to learn collective pitch flying, and also a simulator for additional practice...RC flying is a great hobby I wish I had more time to do it.

yes..the parrot..a nice toy.

this one is not kids stuff. He can still pull a weight off 1.2 kg and fly.
so 3s lipo 4000 milliamp, small sony pal high def camera, LawMate 1.2GHz 1000mW Wireless AV Transmitter, bluetooth for controlling some extra parameters if i'm away from home, gps for hanging still or wayponts flying and extra control (stabilisation), heightsensor for staying on the same height.. etc.
case: reciever lawmade, special mini sd-cars recorder, 1-4 way videosplitter/amplifyer, and that goes to a 7 inche lcdscreen and my Zeiss cinemizer lcd glasses.
So normally i fly with my goggles on and i have another high def camera under the kopter to take HD video while i fly. And i have overlay batteries info in my goggle while i fly :-D

I know what you mean... :-D ...but the larger heli's with high head speeds and big rotors are not toys by any means they are very dangerous bits of kit, I had a bit of a moment with the small red one in my picture I spooled it up and lost control it bounced of a hi-fi speaker the rotor taking a chunk out the wood then it hit me cutting my arm open all this happened in a split second I didn't even get time to kill the power...it doesn't get used indoors anymore.

Kasper,

Great spec and a 1.2Kg lifting capability you must get good power from your brushless motors, do you use it for anything special like building surveys etc or purely for fun flying.

I'am interested in your video transmitting / recording system can you tell me more please.
