public tribute to DWF and PULSAR-FRANCE

Post10 May 2006, 18:43

Hi everybody,

Who am I :
I am the newbie guy who had a lot of problems with his P2. (First the button was very sensitive and second, the button was no more sensitive at all : nothing happened when I pushed it - I was near to cry).
I am everything but an engineer.
What I love in Pulsar is the design and the history much more than the
technology. (that's why the new TC doesn't mean anything for me...).

What I did :
With the help and patience of PULSAR-FRANCE and thanks to all the articles of that forum, I REPAIRED my watch alone by replacing the reed switch ! (may you'il find the topic abused but for me it's very huge!)
First I build a module tester !!
So I bought a soldering iron ! I first practice on every dead or alive mother board cards I have at home ...
I took off the reed switch from the module and put a knew one !!! (It's now a little bit dirty inside ...)
And finally, after some adjustments (electrician tapes, finally not etc.), it WORKS !

Thanks to that forum, I can again wear my watch proudly, the Pulsar P2 ss, may be one of the most fabulous object design of all time.

Thanks

H
