My new toy :)

Post26 Jul 2007, 18:27

OK it's not a watch, but I just wanted to show off some pics I took of my new toy, got it last weekend and I love it! For those that might not know... it's a Renault Clio RenaultSport V6, it has a 3.0L V6 engine where the back seats should be :D

Thanks for the nice comments guys ;)

Liquid - I'll get a pic of the engine if I ever get around to removing the covers.

Fitron - no flooding around here, so far (touch wood).

Compu - the V6 was made in honour of the 5 Turbo.

Wolf - seen the burnout pic before :D "166 or 187kW?" ??

Yeah, the burnout pics are quite old. Strange coincidence, in a car forum I also sometimes visit someone posted a link to these photos only a few hours before your posting here.
1kW = 1.34hp; there are 2 versions of the 3.0l V6

Thats a shame Rewolf, I never get tired of pics/info on the V6.

Redled - I don't think it does have LED rear lights, but tbh I've never looked at them when they're on so I'm not sure :) it does have excellent headlights though, xenon or something like that, very bright white light.

If you haven't seen this already here's a nice TopGear review from JC
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12MqNE2ni7o

Is the 0 - 62mph time correct? I though this would be under 5 sec easy.

I only saw that on one review. After your post I looked again at another site and that one that gave it 0-60 (not 0-62mph) in 5.2. I agree it looks and sounds faster than that. Great YouTube review BTW.

Eh, that's ok, the third brakelight will do!
