OLYMPICS

I am really really pissed off at the moment. My bicycle was stolen yesterday when I popped into a newsagent to get a newspaper. Less than a minute and some SOB stole it. My only hope is that it's a pretty rare model with a non standard marking on it so hopefully the police will find it. Bastard. I hope he falls under a lorry. :-D
I doubt insurance'll cough up as it wasn't locked - never again - and I'll need £800 to replace it with a similar. I've got £560 in a watch fund so I guess that'll have to go on a new one. It's not murders or rapes or assaults that worry me or anyone I know, the odds of them happening to me are so low as to be miniscule, it's this sort of low level crime that is so corrosive and affects everyone's view of the world. On the plus side it needed some work done to it so I've saved probably a hundred quid or so. That's the silver lining.

I was thinking maybe something a little more extreme

Do you think the goverment would adopt it into criminal law?

I would love to hear a judge say "You have been found guilty of the crime of theft and you will be taken from here to a place where you shall be hung by your bollocks, you sticky fingered twat ......... and may the lord have mercy upon your soul"

I understand that the word 'bollocks' is not generally used in the USA and Canada, so just to clarify bollocks is another word for testicles.
This also reminds me of another word that doesn't seem to translate, even within the UK, in Nottinghamshire when someone is irritable, we say they are 'Mardy' but I have friends from the south (London area) who have never heard of the word.

 Campbell(Fitron) - it really can happen, that fall under a lorry deal. I had a bike stolen from my garage about 20 years ago, first new bicycle I had ever bought. Thing was only a few weeks old. :-( So I get a call about a year later from the police, telling me they had my bike. Asked them,"anything left of it?". "Well, not really, we've been holding it for evidence". Seems the chap who stole it was riding it down a main road at about 3 a.m. the night he stole it(bars close at 2 a.m. here) and was hit by a drunk driver and dragged a few hundred feet. To his demise.
