Help on private messages

I have sent (submitted) 2 private messages to the same individual; however, they still show up in my Outbox after 2 days and not in my Sentbox. Am I doing something incorrectly? D

The PM will move into the sent box when the recipient opens\reads the message, until that time it will remain in you outbox - The good thing about it is you know when the message has been read!
