Where do you find your treasures?

Post28 Jul 2010, 17:25

I mean, besides the obvious (eBay). Two days ago I found an early Seiko/Pulsar LCD at an antique mall. Not the most collectible or valuable but I still find it interesting.

I have done some hunting at estate sales. From reading posts on this forum I see that some make private sales/trades with other LED enthusiasts. Where else do you find your watches?

Hi Shaun,
I've found some at small watch sales & repairs places. A few years ago I picked up my avatar watch at a small place in Hollywood at a fabulous price...
Sometimes you can find them at flea markets or garage sales. These are usually untested so buyer beware. If you don't want to bother with used and/or having to do repairs check out retroleds.com.
