Hi pigeon, take a look at the auction details. Does the seller offer a money back guarantee? If so, you're solid. If his auction says "as is", "no refunds" or something to that effect then you're out of luck with doing a return. But if you didn't pay much and they are in good cosmetic condition and if they can be repaired then you will come out ahead. 8-)

Do you want to share the link to the auction with us so that someone can make a better determination?

I can't resist answering: "CONDITION: Needs batteries sold "AS IS" sounds almost like a text in an auction of one of pigeon2's "diverant" personalities - except it would be spelled "NEEDS BATERYS UNTESTED BECAUSE REQUIRES SPECIAL TOOL TO OPEN I DONT HAVE SO SOLD AS IS" M:)W:)M

The "AS IS" verbiage means you wont be able to return it for a refund if it doesn't work. Ebay will back the seller on this point.
BUT - it looks to be in good shape so if the price was right then you're still ok IMO.

But nevermind all this - I think I found an ever better deal for you pigeon! Please see below...

The ebay box is for fast searches off listing numbers or search terms - pops up in a separate window or new tab(depending on your browser).

Maybe not such a great buy Pigeon2. Metal on the face of the watch over the button is worn extremely thin. Case is minimally restorable. This can be a problem with P2s.

Sorry to hear about the serial number. :-(

Nope...looks fine to me. Overall condition not that great, but deinitely restorable. I'm not sure any what this whole thread is about any more...? In general, unless you already have a working module, there is little to be gained by "taking chances" on ebay [especially when I've still got nearly a HUNDRED good, working Pulsars that all need new homes!].
