Digibetic question

Can anyone of you explain to me in simpleton language how I can get a digital letter font on my pc so that I can úse it?

Sorry for this rather básic digibetic question

I am assuming you are working on a Pc and not a Mac.

1. When you download the font it will probably be in a .zip file. Extract the contents and remember where they are on your hard drive.

2. Open Windows Explorer and search for your font directory (probably something like: C:\WINDOWS\Fonts).

3. Go to File -> Install New Font

4. Direct the "Wizard" to the location of your extracted fonts.

5. Click "Select All" and then click "OK."

6. Now go to your favorite word processor and test it out.

I downloaded <a href="http://www.dafont.com/digital-7.font">this font</a> and installed it with the steps outlined above.

You are very welcome. On online forums I think you are pretty much restricted. Maybe Ed knows if there is a way to enable them for the forum.
