Motion activated LED

Post12 Jan 2012, 22:19

I am sorry to be posting so much as of late.

My question is about a watch commercial I used to see during the mid 70's. This was a specific type of LED that activated during movement of the wrist. The commercial showed a person tilting their wrist, and the LED segments lit up. I looked extensively for several days a couple of years ago, but found nothing.

Again, I am not sure any of you remember the commercial or the watch brand or model, but if any of you can provide any in-site to this type of watch, would be nice.

I don't know about the advert but three makers of wrist activated display watches spring to mind....

1. Pulsar, made various models using the flick wrist module.
2. Gillette Reflex, a tip wrist activated module.
3. Birks, flick wrist activated modules.

......and probably some others :?:

Your welcome :-)
As you are from California it would probably of been a Pulsar commercial.

Here are some examples of wrist activated display watches.

1. Birks flick wrist.

2. Gillette, tilt wrist.

3. Pulsar Executive flick wrist.
