Battery Size - Phasar 2000

Post17 Jul 2013, 21:35

Hello everyone,

Can anyone upload or show me a battery size chart of all common button cell battery sizes. I know there have been a few of these charts uploaded before within the last few years. I need to find the right battery for a Phasar 2000 I picked up

Thank you all in advance,

- Patrick

There are many different phasar's with 2000 on the crystal (both led and lcd), can you show a pic of your watch ?
If it's one with a seiko module, i maybe could tell what battery goes into it.

If you measure the battery "hole" you can maybe determine what you need from this wikipedia page.
There are measurement for different button cells.

Hi patrick,
First of all i am not seiko kid ;-)
I see the watch is working, but you did not get i yet ?
If the watch comes in, can't you open the hatch and have a look then, because the battery is obviously in place and will have the type on the back.
Otherwise, it will be difficult to determine the size of the battery when the battery hatch is in place, you have to remove it in order to measure the diameter and depth of the battery "hole". ;-)

BTW,
It's probably a citizen module inside, although i don't know which one.
It looks a bit similar to this :

Hi and sorry for the confusion 'Seiko&Casio Lcd's'. Actually, The watch did come with a battery, but I did not keep it because I thought it may have been leaking. So, When I tried all the common types, 389, 386, the battery width seem too wide. I am going to use a 389, as I believe it is the only correct fit.

Thank you all for the help.
