Yep your right ;-)
Don't think it would be a keeper though.
It's not "a sticky car" as we call them.

Good for one lap on the Nürburgring, as it doesn´t hurt so much I would say.

According to the write up in the top gear mag the standard setup with road tyres.
(Which this was) is surprisingly comfortable. For a car of this ability.
And that's according to Mr ouch my bad back Clarkson.
But I think at those speeds you could be right.
Also according to sources the tyres still had tread left LOL.

What I meant was the cold forming of the car after one lap with me on the steering wheel. :nikolaus: When I was there about 4 months ago with my wife I was too frightened to drive with my own car - as usual.

If you don´t feel pain at all you should visit the place in August when they drive with Jaguar MK IIs, E-Types, Lotus Elises, BMW CSIs and sort of that stuff. They even drive with 1970s F1 cars from museums. Was there with my wife, too and I can tell you they don´t even try to preserve their cars.

wait... I will upload some pictures..

OK, here are some pictures..

The first one of a race with quite a few British cars and drivers. Take a look at the amount of cars driving.

Image

Picture of the same race, with a single American Ford Mustang.

Image

And here is a 1970s F1 car race in 2013

Image

A race MK II, have seen a similar one on the track as well.

Image

Well, that´s what I call an inconspicuous exhaust system.

Image

A few other high price UK cars...

Image

Don´t drink and drive... Original German race car

Image

And a nice Montreal from Italy, preparing for the race.

Image

A big plus: You could inspect everything and take pictures.

Image

This is something really great as the original paddock from 1927 is still standing (I believe the only one worldwide). This gives everything a special atmosphere. A picture from the middle of the paddock, the boxes are surrounding us.

Image

This was in the evening in Adenau. The weather was good so the visitors all vacated their garages. It was funny on the Autobahn as well as there were driving so many old cars.

Image

And the last one from Adenau, "city" view. You can also drive on the Nordschleife during the event with your own car of course.
And if you prefer modern race cars, just arrive a week earlier...
