happy new.....watch!!!

Post30 Dec 2014, 22:31

Hi my friends!!
What watch you will wear to say "hello" to 2015??
Come on ..... Led,LCD,atomic ..... ?! :Prost:
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

I've been doing some trail running lately, and was given a Tomtom "Runner" GPS watch as a Christmas gift, so that's what I'll be wearing to see in the new year.

Not mine, just some random photo off the net: http://media.bestofmicro.com/5/6/396762 ... er-G01.jpg

Greetings!

I’ll be ringing in 2015 wearing my new-old-stock, never worn 1976 Compu Chron. Incidentally, 1976 was one of my all-time favorite years. My country was celebrating its Bicentennial (200th birthday), and LED watches were all the rage!

:Prost: Cheers!

Nice to see them all together. :-D

Is that the Saudi air force or king Jordan watch? I can see the Arabic style of writing on the dial.

Happy New Year folks !

Attached are a few pics of a rare Pulsar 1917-2 18kt that I was fortunate to own many years ago. I found myself looking at this only last week, and thought I'd share some pics on here. (Although I was actually wearing a chunky great Hamilton QED on New Yrs Day ...)

It is a stunning work of art with the most amazing strap. Unless someone knows differently, I believe this is the only one I know of in collectors hands, which makes it rarer than hens teeth.

btw the citizen still going strong, but the nice YES watch has problems...put a new batt in it and it will not reset or start up again...i saw a small missprinting ( a small blob) on the circuit board..maybe thats the problem.
Have to get in contact with these guys..just to be sure :-D

Awesome, the 9406 is a rare bird indeed. You seem to have the box in the background? Would you have a copy of the instructions you could share, would love to read through!
