I find one thing difficult is finding the right battery for the right watch. What would be helpful is a guide of all LED watches and the original and now modern equivalent. Not just Pulsar but all of them. Also a quick breakdown of good, better, best based on people's experience. Renata, vs Ever Ready, vs Duracell, silver oxide vs alkaline. I know it's something you old timers know by heart, but there are times even one of you might need this info. First off is a catalog of all the Pulsars because they would be easiest. Then go from there. I am willing to help as much as possible. Your thoughts?

impossible! there are maybe 10.000 differend watches with so many differend modules...where do you start?

there is a guide that is much easier..just measure the diameter and the depth of the hole or the batt itself..and then you have it.

this one is a guide i use for 15 years and the paper is maybe 35 years old:-))) i left it in the high resolution...download it and print it.
tape the 2 parts together and you have a good one:-)

You say impossible, I say daunting. It is a big task, but one certainly worth trying. This could be as big a scope or as exact as you want. Especially with the number of batteries that have gone obsolete. Anyway I am willing to help as much as possible and I'll start by making a spread sheet of all the Pulsar watches I can find and then listing original batteries and what I ca find now. it will be a big task, but certainly worth it for people just starting out.

i still don't see the point...every bit of info on batt for pulsars you can find on the net. All the other....most of them have the batt still in it so you know what to use and just measure the depth and the diameter for all the other. It's not like they use differend voltages. I change batt almost on a daily basis and i never had that problem.

Offcourse if you really have a world of time on your hands..i rather like it that you come to me and sell some watches for me on the bay cause i have plenty but i don't have the time to do it. My 8 months old one is consuming all my precious time (but i love it)

The point is not just Pulsar. But Bulova, Longines and any other LED watch (or electric for that matter) out there. I am new and will be for quite a while, but I know the trouble I have had getting info on my Hamilton Savitar. A listing like this would be valuable for lots of different people. Anyway I guess we disagree on this, but I will continue and if anyone chooses to help just let me know by PM.

Yes, 386.

I think the task is daunting but far from impossible.
29 Hughes - 357
25mm hughes - 386
National Semi - 357 unless it's a thinner one. Batteries should be flush with back, not stick out.
Bulova driver - if 2 battery hatches, 357. If one lid over two batteries, 393
Orange carrier Bulovas - 386
Yellow carrier Bulova(Chicago Telephone) - 357
Commodor - 386

9 common ones. meh, just stick something in the hole . . . .
