What month of 1973 did the P3 date-Command come out??

This is also the same band and case that was used for the modern LCD Men In Black II movie watch....I know it came out the fall of 1974, curious as to what month in 1974....
I have the MIB 2 LCD version and its a great modern design that in my opinion is a better design than most watches are today. Way ahead of its time.

True, ist's a good design, but with a very poor display (and cheap module). I never wear it for that reason.

Old post, but I had a question myself about how one could tell what Month a Pulsar was manufactured?
I saw on someones auction listing that they indicated what month, & year their Pulsar P3 Date Command was made by looking at the buckle of the watch.
My P4 Date Command:

If the Indication is correct for telling what month/year...Mine was made September, of '74 (Its a month long celebration for its birthday because it does not indicate a day).

This is a general indication, but all it tells you for sure is when the bracelet was made. An unknown amount of time might have elapsed before it was attached to a case and shipped out for sale. Serial numbers would maybe be a better indication, but the manufacturing records are mostly lost. However, my best guess is, not much time went by between the parts arriving at Time Computer, and a complete watch going out the door.
