Hamilton qtc revamp.

Post11 Nov 2010, 20:10

I recently bought this nice g/f hamilton qtc in used but good condition.(the model used by kojak in the 70s tv series)
The original hamilton module required a new oscillator chip which i was reluctant to fit even though the watch worked with it fitted (but minus the quartz crystal).I deceided to have it replaced with the new sasm15 module from strikes and spares. The watch arrived back this week and is performing well.Hanno advised i was the first customer to have the new module with the latest upgrade software installed. The trimmer is now adjustable digitally in .5 sec plus or minus up to 5 sec per day (although it has a "0" perfect time position) It also now has the light sensor also refitted to the correct position. It is pretty much the same visually to the original. The carrier has the original hamilton 955 marking.
I may consider a reasonable offer on this package.Pm me if your interested.

The module cost is 179 euro ,approx £165. However,The trade with the hamilton module brought it down to around £100. :-)
It is in gently used condition, therefore i would wear it on occasions.
Those damm minters, i find difficult bringing myself to wear them !
