P2 strap change - screw pin direction?

Hi all.

I recently tried a different strap on my p2. While I was screwing it on I realised I did not know which way the original screw pins came out of the watch face.

Does it matter which side of the watch the screw pins are inserted and tightened?

One or both sides of both case lugs may be threaded, so there is no specific direction they have to go. Whatever works is "correct".
