Any sensor from a P2 or P3 module will fit and work. Later P4 modules used a smaller sensor, but the pad arrangement was not changed, so the earlier, larger ones will still fit. Evidently, they did not tolerate soldering temperatures well, so were installed using silver epoxy (which does not "stick" well to gold-plated surfaces, and which accounts for why so many of these have seperated over time); and you should use this method when installing the replacement.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the reply. I do have a light sensor from a Hamilton with a P2 I believe. Like you pointed out it is a bit larger but should fit. I'm concerned though it may be shot. I tested using a multimeter and got around 14 Mohms. What is the resistance range?

Thanks.
Elias
