Pulsar 6921 and 7918

Post01 Dec 2015, 23:32

I stumbled across these 2 solid gold Pulsar models that i have never seen in the wild in an old catalogue. Does anyone have one of these? On the first glimpse i didn't even think they are from Pulsar because of the rather unusual style of bracelet. Would love to seem more pictures of these. Bruce? Anyone? BRUCE!!!! :-D

OK, yes, I have both of these, in 14K (there were 18K versions, as well). I think I have some pics on my computer somewhere, but if not, I'll try to take some and post them when I can. Your assessment of rarity would seem to be correct; I have seen only a single pair of these on eBay in the last 12 years. There are even rarer watches within this group (which I believe are called the "Midas Collection"). It is here that most collections fall short of completion...

Actually, no. I have the Ladies Oval with diamonds, and the Dress watch, but the ones we're talking about use Touch-Command modules, and have integral bracelets. I'll try to get some pics up this week.

Ahhhh, Bruce - you're simply the best. Definitely looking forward to the pictures. :-D

Ahhhh, i always wonder how you got even models that many Pulsar enthusiasts don't even know about.

Yes, I have this watch in 14K, along with the matching Ladies' model. I am inclined to agree, these are the most elegant and beautiful watches Time Computer ever made (although the cases were actually made in Switzerland). For production watches, these are at the top of the rarity spectrum (the 18K model in the pic may be the only known example).
