Here is something you can try at home. If you think you have a Pulsar led watch with a minty mint crystal, take an led flashlight and shine it on the crystal of your favorite Pulsar. You will be amazed at all the little lines and imperfections that the led light will show. In normal lighting it will look fine but for some reason the led brings out the worst.
