P2 with a ding

Post11 Jan 2016, 15:18

Hey Guys, how difficult is it to remove a ding. The ding is located underneath the button from the edge toward the button. The ding does not touch the button The watch works fine.
Thanks in advance

Is the case solid 14k gold, gold filled or just stainless ? That would help.

Pics would be better. This might be fixable...maybe not. Material of case is a secondary consideration. Solid gold would be the easiest to work on, though.

If it is solid 14k, any local custom jewler is capable of fixing the case for you. They are use to working with items like this. May run it by someone in your area for a quote. It would be easier to check on during the week to see what progress is being made on it then to send it off and and who knows how long it will be before you get it back. This will save you a lot of sleepless nights in the long run.

Thanks for the reply, I decided to pass on the purchase of a GF P2 with the dent. The seller wants too much for it.
