:( That doesn't sound like a very good deal!
I am hungry though. Are they good to eat?

I'm taking this thread way off topic. I'd better knock it off before Fronzel confiscates a Synchronar as punishment.

I?m sure that our beloved Mr Fronz would?nt mind confiscating a Synch.
I hope he does?nt get any ideas after reading this!!!

Who has one?

Resurrecting this thread for a black Synchronar roll call...

I'm letting my black synch go on Ebay right now, but before I do, how many of you own a black Synchronar, and what module generation is it?

(I know I'm going to kick myself for selling this watch in a few years.)

Sorry for coming in so late. I don't visit this board as much as I should.

I have two black Syncs, both non-working. I posted a thread above about the value of them, as i'm interested in selling at least one, though i'm tempted to try a repair.

Thank you very much for the ceramic black Synchronar, it?s truly a beauty! Also, thank you for all of those freebee gifts, and for setting the Synchronar?s date and time to my time zone! When I can scrape together enough money, I?ll arrange to buyback my firstborn from you.

My pleasure Sean, thanks for bidding so well on it, when I sell a led I always set the time date to the buyers timezone, I think its a nice touch to do that for people.
Question for the Forum....
Ive just got delivery of another batch of 12 'new' boxed 70's synchronars and they have dot matrix modules in them, were these Mk1 or Mk2 modules, were they more common than the bar type? can anyone help with some info?

Two months prior to this you posted here that you had only seen one at another site and does anyone have info. You posted many questions back then Phil that RWR would have certainly given you the answer on. And why bother telling me on the phone in early 2006 that you don't sell ,only collect LEDS?.and a story about some guy that had them in a chest for 30 years.Different than your later and last email that you said it was a "service department in Florida"

I see some posts and topics are now deleted but there are several old ones left. And they explain a lot of things to me.Besides I copied many of them before they were deleted long ago.

It,s part of digital watch collector history, but I do apologise if it upset anyone.

I really was just trying to pull up a few quotes like others do.Did not realize the whole thread would come with it.

Threads that don't get posted to for 365 days self-destruct....Tor had it set up this way and I have left it at that to keep the database to a managable size(below 100MB). The Synchronar vs. Pulsar "first" debate is a good example - nobody has posted since July of last year. Any thoughts on how to handle really old, dead threads would be welcome.
