redcar, you should go to radio shack or a similar store and get a 3v powerpack and some smooth jaw alligator clips. i have 2. 1 for AA cells and 1 for C cells. it is a lot easier to test out that way and the voltage will be sufficient for a bright display. jeff, the stuff came yesterday but i missed the m/m. need to go to p/o tomorrow. :-( peter

Impressive. The most transistors I have ever replaced on a Pulsar module is three. Seems there's almost no limit to what you can accomplish with a fine-point soldering iron and a steady hand... :eek:
