MkII Won't Reset

Post05 Dec 2010, 03:17

I know I only seem to come to the forum when something's wrong, but I'm hoping someone here has the solution.

I recently let my MkII run down, and once recharged, it was 2 hours off. I've tried resetting it, but it doesn't seem to be working this time.

I wasn't having any problems with it beforehad, and even now everything seems totally normal, it just won't reset. I'm hoping this isn't something serious.

i have some like that. the rear magnet loses magnetism over time. what i do is take off the steel top and remove the rear magnet ass'y. take it apart so you have just the magnet. that may work since you can now slide it over to the left further. note, you also need to turn on and hold the time switch. i have a very small horseshoe magnet that i got from www.kjmagnetics.com to recharge both the switch magnets and the rear magnet. works pretty good. :-) peter
