Just lost the bracelet stylus for my HP 01, must have knocked it off when I was storing my bags in the cockpit. Well that is a bummer.
ANY ONE OUT THERE WITH A SPARE THEY ARE WILLING TO PART WITH :wink:
In any case, there was actually no need for me to carry the bracelet stylus as I had a perfectly functional Cross pen with a PDA rubber insert which I was using. So a warning, if you wear your HP 01 remove the bracelet stylus and leave it at home in your cufflink box!
The Pulsar pen and HP 01 pen I understand were made by Garland and externally only differ from each other by way of the engraving; the Pulsar by having the engraved name "PULSAR" and the HP 01 not being engraved.
Internally the stylus is different;
- the Pulsar has a black tipped rubber spring loaded stylus which does not exert enough pressure on the HP 01 keyboard causing the steel pen surround to touch and possibly scratch the HP 01 keyboard.
- the HP 01 stylus is a one piece solid white nylon insert not spring loaded.
Just though I would let you know,
NOW does anyone have a spare HP 01 stylus (really!?)
