How to replace the batteries in an HP-01

Post04 Jan 2009, 20:06

I've taken the batteries out of a HP-01 and am ready to put in some new ones.

Is there anything i need to be aware of, reset thing to press, the order to put the batteries in etc... ?

Any advice/warnings would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Just make sure that you discharge any static electricity built up in your body by touching something metal before inserting the batteries (in any order). Your watch should start right up again although you will have to reset the time and date. If it doesn't work, check to see that the batteries were inserted correctly, but you should have no problems. These watches were very well made and it's difficult to do any damage.

Sorry I think that you should of been informed by the seller that the HP is basically a disposable watch that is designed to be thrown away once the batteries become flat - send it to me and I will throw it away for you ;-)

PS - Before anyone takes it serious (you never know) this is only a joke. M:)W:)M
