I just like this watches, After I got the SS Chron a GP companion was added, then I came accross the GP octagon, I couldn't resist. This are cool watches I like the low profile and the Big Sanyo display.

Hard to come by and pricey sums it up pretty well, if you did fancy splashing out Peter Wenzig has one for sale on http://www.digitalwatches.de/ENGLISH_INDEX.HTM (follow link to watches for sale).
They all work. The octagon is also my favorite. I will keep an eye for the Sanyo made SS watch, is a good looking watch. Someone on the forum score one not long ago.
Don't forget - if you want a complete set of models using the thin Sanyo module, then you might also want to include the Sanyo and Dugena branded ones also!:

And Aria, Lamp and Pontiac.

I only knew of the Compu Chron having this style Sanyo Module besides of course the Sanyo made watches.
I believe the module features were appealing to designers. Looking at my Compu Chrons they will easily qualify as dress watches, they are thin and the beveled sides are easy on the cuffs.
Aben's SS sanyo is definitely a keeper I missed one like that not long ago just for bidding too low. For now I will enjoy my fav Chron.
