Mido Driver styles LEDS ?

Post27 Apr 2009, 15:28

hi all

iam curious to see the three types of mido drivers designs in this advert.

http://www.ledwatches.net/advertisements/mido-ad.htm

i myself have a rather battered type 2 style ( 1-3 left to right in pic )

(incidently anyone has a case for sale i would be happy to pay good for a replacement case)

but ive never seen any real pictures of the other two designs.
anyone out there got the other two?

cheers
g

So exactly how rare would this now no longer missing design be?
I've seen you found one in gold tone in later posts.
Just picked this one up from ebay in SS-toned working condition but no brandname on it.
I'm pretty sure it is a mido "third design" in SS-toned, and it was a real bargain. :-D

Waiting for it to arrive wondering how much better it will look when polished up a little.

Nice watch. 8-)

I had a bid on that one but stopped short of the eventual selling price (I must be getting tight fisted in my old age).

The original poster (funkyguy) was the seller of the watch (item number 261096844112). Geoff is like a blood hound when it comes to finding rare digital watches and I figure he has since found a cleaner example and decided to let this one go. I sneaked a peak at his feedback and noticed that he has picked up a Nepro XJ-S (lucky bugger) I am hoping that he is going to post the pic's very soon......hint, hint FG.
