Pepsiman LED watches

Post22 Feb 2006, 16:13

Are these a promotion of Pepsi?

And more important: Is the Pepsiman married to the Pepsiwoman?

The display on those looks(a)faked(you should see what I can do in Photoshop), and(b)not LED - waaaay too chunky on the digits.

Imoda opinion that Pepsiman considers Pepsiwoman the Alpha & Omega of his world.....I Desira woman with nice Junghans too, but I better better just slip on my Longines and Renata here while I still have a Pulsar in my veins, 'cause I'm too much of a Novus to spread this Bulova any further, and some Citizen might decide to Duval of you a favor and threaten "I'm Buren my foot up Uranus and Tissoting you out".

Sorry...Just couldn't resist.

"Hollands Hope" would be my choice...but lets not get sidetracked into the "Magic Kingdom" - there ain't any batteries there and then we won't know what time it is. Unless you bring a Synchronar with us.

These are legit watches that came out years ago. I was actually looking for them myself at one time. However, I now believe that the modules are the backlit LCD ones. So I'm not interested anymore. :)

Ae they really backlit LCD? Seen them pretty often in Japan and they rather look like the actual Fossil LEDs from the display type I think. Maybe not on that particular auction, but in general.

I'm not 100% sure but photos I saw of one a couple years ago looked like backlit LCD.

For me rather looks like a bubble magnified LED display. This is the best pic I could find:

I stand corrected...It is LED. I'm thinking of another modern protional "LED" watch then and getting it mixed up with the Pepsiman one. It's on a the tip of my tongue. AH!
