GALA LED....BUTTON PROBLEM

i have just acquired a GALA LED WATCH...it appears in good condition. havving replced the batteries i have had problems setting the watch. the top button seems to be very unresponsive and only works in a certain position and if pressed very hard..50/50 really...Any ideas...will contact cleaner work?? thanks

Don't put contact cleaner inside. Take the module out and see what is happening in relation to the button and the contact of the module, that it's touching. Also, while the module is out, check that the button is not sticking. You could put a tiny shot of oil in it (from inside the case) if it is.
