Uranus Solar Model 0100

Post04 Jun 2011, 12:33

The watch has now been repaired so I thought I would upload a fresh photo. It displays time in hours and minutes only, curiously when the display is activated it cycles through 3 levels of brightness starting with the dimmest and finishing with the brightest.

Any more info on the watch would be welcome.

Hi Mick.
Nice Uranus
I'm sure you've seen this, but for those who haven't, have a look:

http://www.soluhr.com/uranusprototype.htm

Yours looks very similar, but with the red/purple filter extending across the solar panel region. I like the fan-shaped panels on these watches.

Where did you get it, and what was wrong with it ?
Rgds,
Andrew.

I spotted it on eBay a couple of months back and purchased it as non-working, I sent it off to Peter Wenzig for repairs.....not sure what was wrong with it, I didn't ask as I probably wouldn't understand

The watch shown on http://www.soluhr.com/ does not work, P. Wenzig has the only other working one that I know off his is the same as the one shown on 'soluhr.com'.
