I recently found on the italian Ebay this strange yet familiar looking LED watch, because it remembered me of the Novus "bracelet" watch, but it isn't. The seller says that the watch works (it was his watch) but he hasn't managed to find the proper batteries to fit in the watch, after nearly two decades of being stored in a drawer. So there could be the risk that the watch doesn't work or has some issues. Since bidding for this watch as it is, could be a big gamble, I want to ask you all if you can help me identify this watch.
At a first glance I thought it was a Novus with a non original band, but it isn't, since the back does not have the Novus brand nor the same font of the original one. The seller told me that the band is also original, proving that the watch isn't a Novus, but what brand could be then? I'm also puzzled about the module. I cannot identify it, nor the kind of batteries that this module uses. Perhaps you can help me to identify the watch, the module and the kind of batteries used by this watch, so I can bid without risking to buy a flawed or a non-working watch.
From what it seems, the module has the DOW feature, judging by the amount of segments(?) It also seems to have military time, since I don't see the PM dot on the module.
Here are the pictures, but I also have bigger ones that I can send via PM:
