was made for Siebke & Hoyt Jewelers, as an anniversary item for Joseph's 30 years of running the company but they sold them to the public. $800 back then. . Apparently they got the first dozen, then there was a glitch, never got anymore. He had no information on who made it but said it was the most requested item they have every carried.
Regarding the Hoyt Archery theory - heard back from them too. Hoyt name was sold in 1980, they have no records. And the Hoyt family has no affiliation with the current company whatsoever.
