Countdown?

Hi all got this one couple of weeks back. You all know the kind (may just need battery)
They have had the back off and cleaned the contacts up but hadn't noticed the module was in two bit's...
And they knew that it was a Hughes module too so they had even had it out to read the writing...
Anyway it says on the case back 'Countdown' does anyone know why? I've never seen a module with that feature.
Or was it just a name they gave it?
Also what features would this of had? I like to keep my watches as original as possible..

Well I'm gonna need a 25 mm Hughes module anyway so if anyone has a spare?????

Maybe it was Richard Whiteley's watch

Or maybe it is just the name of the model, I have a couple marked up as President one stamped as Shrike the other as Minuteman, both of these use the Hughes 29mm module.

Then maybe your SHRIKE should have a RED BACK..Nah that would make it synchronar I guess ..
Also what's Tom thumb (Minute Man) doing with such a large watch?

Funny how yours are 29mm and mine is clearly 25mm.. It certainly don't look small
I'll post some When I've cleaned/fettled it and polished the crystal.
Would look so much better with a working module in it though..

Does anyone have, or know of someone with one of these modules they would be prepared to let go of?
