Sicura Chronoflash

Post08 Sep 2014, 03:29

Does anyone know if / how to remove the clear crystal on a Sicura Chronoflash? The watch case has a clear crystal over the face of the watch within which there is also a recessed shape for a small rectangular red acrylic crystal which sits loose between the the space in the clear crystal and the module. The module and red crystal drop out easily after the case back is removed.

The clear crystal, however, seems to be stuck onto the case. Any advice on if the clear crystal is removable and how to go about doing this would be much appreciated, thanks!

You could try applying heat and giving it a push to see if you get any movement.

It's something I have a chance to buy so I don't actually have it to hand. I don't want to consider it unless I know I can safely remove the crystal so "chicken & egg". Guess it's best to wait for a nice condition one which doesn't need lots of work
