I had to rack my brains to remember the similar one that I had seen previously - A Tegrov, which is mentioned in the book 'History Of The Modern Wrist Watch' by Pieter Doensen; http://doensen.home.xs4all.nl/k3.html (number 10) and also here with photo https://70swatchesgallery.wordpress.com ... 09/tegrov/

I also seen that one on eBay - looks a lot nicer than the Tegrov IMO, nice catch :mega:

Not that rare- usually in the UK and North America you see them branded as "Sheffield Instalite" and always a couple knocking around on Ebay if you look, but mind the condition (battery compartment frequently mucky and that black plastic cover is fragile after all these years). The Ravisa brand was mostly sold in mainland Europe (still is). Lovely example of this watch though.

your right tom did abit of looking in to ravisa .yes still make watches . but these was only made for 2 years . no problem with the module it had never seen a battery until I put one in . 75 to 76 these was sold. in to 77 . watch is mint but if I was keeping it I would put on a nice leather strap I think it would look better .but not original after that . but you can see its never been worn gold color still looks new no faiding . its a big face watch .

Seems like prices are going up at the moment...

Oh well don't expect it to ever be sold at this price, even if the condition is nice...
