I have an old Ricoh LED watch that I've started looking for a new module for - a few questions...
If I get a donor watch with the 2 o'clock / 8 o'clock buttons plus 3 o'clock setting button will it definitely be a Hughes module or are there some false-friends / look-a-likes around?
Any (widespread) brands other than Compuchron that are worth searching for donors?
Any idea what the 'correct' version of the module for the Ricoh watches is (dots vs lines / functions / etc.) - the broken module inside the watch has no sticker or other obvious markings on it - button contacts are soldered onto the PCB - I think Ricoh stopped using the Hughes modules after a couple of years before then using a Pulsar-esque module made by Sanyo?
