Help with a Hughes module

Hi.

I have a Hughes module that once the batteries are in it just starts counting the days from 1 to 31 and over and over. It's lit all the time. Pressing the buttons nothing happens.

Any suggestions? Module is clean with no corrosion. I checked all the contacts and they look good.

I'm assuming You check it outside the case
if You didn't try the module out of the case and see
what happens.
